Product Description | “We were given two ears and one mouth so that we might listen twice as much as we speak. Anybody can hear, it takes a true lover of wisdom to listen."
- Epictetus 50AD - 135AD
Hephaestus, God of smiths and fire, was the son of Zeus and Hera. Hard-working and peace-loving, Hephaestus had many forges inside the volcanoes on earth. When he was hard at work, his hammer could be heard for miles and sparks were seen flying from the tops of the mountains.
A delicate token of passion, these 18ct gold-plated sterling silver earrings are hand-carved with flames from the forge, symbolising a fire that never dies.
